Can you see the rain drops it was pouring rain yesterday

     Snowflakes?  Today is a day for snowflakes. No not too many snowflakes outside we had a lot of rain in the last twenty four hours now ice...
I have several books on Snowflakes they are amazing such great pictures. I am going to lend one of the story books and photocopy some colouring pages of snowflakes to my daughter. She works at a daycare and it would be a wonderful project to make with the kids. Even better if it is a snow day!!
I am thinking I doing a project with snowflakes. I just have to try to squeeze some time into my day for fun.

RAIN this rain is not good for our ice rink. The weather is crazy we are having a hard core rain all night and all day. Imagine if it was snow! My kids could be snowed in tomorrow but sorry kids rained in... just does not work.
I have been sorting, cleaning and I am winning. Where does all the dirt come from?
We have been taking some time in the evening to watch some wonderful movies. Christmas movies and then last night we watched Beauty and the Beast. No wonder my kids were scared of it when they were little.
Most of my morning I have been looking for a misplaced Christmas present and I still have not found it. the present is not little...NO it is quite large. Darn it I hid it well
Off to hunt some more then off to the bus.

We have been having a full week but there has been a lot of fun added in. Wrapping, dreaming, decorating and building ice. Our skating rink is still hanging in there. Our weather has been quite up and down this last week.
Today we are off to town to feel the Christmas cheer. I hope to get my girls to sit for a few pictures... maybe by the river.
Wood piles and piles of firewood I have already burned sooo much wood. Really quite an amazing amount,
My little canary is still sitting on her eggs it will be quite exciting if she hatches some little ones.

Tis the Season

Today we decorated. Simple with a lot of red bows

It is amazing how fast this year has flown by. It was just like a week ago when these trees were the same and I was in amazement. Oh my goodness where is time going. I am not sure I like how fast it is going by.
I have my computer back and I am not too sure I am happy with it. However at least now I can see what I am typing and I can put up pictures again. I do have to deal with my 26,512 photos though. I guess when I by some Cd's I will start moving them over again. Then after Christmas I will start printing some out. I do have a lot of them printed but I find it is a lot of money to do too many at once.
I am winning with my Christmas shopping and that makes me happy. I may even start to decorate soon in my house. I can on Wednesday it will the first of December !!! And, for the kids that means Chocolate calenders. I also think I should by some hot chocolate and more eggnog.
